Philanthropist Juliet Rolbin Brings Hope to National Hospital Patients

In a heartwarming display of generosity, young businesswoman Juliet Rolbin surprised patients at Abuja’s National Hospital by paying their medical bills.

Targeting those with life-threatening conditions, Rolbin’s donations brought relief to individuals struggling with cancer, mental disorders, ectopic pregnancies, and other critical emergencies.

A Selfless Act

Accompanied by hospital staff, Rolbin personally visited patients across various wards, offering empathy and support. Her contributions ranged from N15,000 to N250,000 per patient, helping five cancer patients resume treatment and enabling others to return home after completing their care.

Gratitude and Relief

Patients and families expressed deep gratitude for Rolbin’s kindness. Steven Akila, a father whose newborn was receiving treatment, said, “This donation has brought us so much relief, and now my wife can go home.” Elizabeth Kingsley, struggling to afford medication, added, “This support will allow me to continue my treatment.”

A Longstanding Commitment

Rolbin revealed her motivation, stating, “I’ve been helping the sick and indigent for seven years. Seeing people in helpless situations worries me, and I also assist villages facing humanitarian crises.”

Hospital’s Appreciation

Assistant Director Maijama Adamu thanked Rolbin, saying, “This support couldn’t have come at a better time. Many patients couldn’t afford treatment.” The hospital’s social welfare department presented Rolbin with a token of appreciation.
