Oborevwori to Take APC Campaign to Warri South-West on November 10

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State has called on residents to turn out for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s campaign visit scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, 2026, as the party intensifies grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.

Oborevwori, the APC’s governorship candidate, will lead the state campaign delegation to the local government as part of the party’s efforts to engage communities and strengthen support ahead of the polls.

The delegation is expected to include APC State Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka; Director-General of the State Campaign Council, Senator James Ebiowou Manager; members of the campaign council, party candidates and other leaders.

The Warri South-West APC Campaign Committee, chaired by Hon. Mofe Pira, will host the delegation.

In a joint statement, the committee’s Coordinator, Chief Favour Izuokumor, and Secretary, Hon. Frank Pukon, appealed to traditional rulers, community leaders, youth and women groups, religious leaders, market associations and other residents to attend the rally.

They said the visit would provide an opportunity for residents to interact with party leaders, hear the APC’s programmes and understand its vision for Delta State.

The organisers stressed that the rally was open to all residents, irrespective of political affiliation.

APC announces rally venue and transport arrangements

The campaign rally is scheduled to hold at Ogbe-Ijoh Grammar School, Ogbe-Ijoh, at 10:00 a.m.

For participants travelling from Warri by water, the committee said a barge would be stationed at Chief Tunde Smooth Jetty, NPA, Warri, for departure at 8:00 a.m.

Residents intending to use the water transport arrangement were advised to arrive early to avoid missing the scheduled departure.

The committee also urged APC leaders, supporters and grassroots mobilisers to intensify mobilisation across their communities ahead of the governor’s visit.

It expressed confidence that the campaign engagement would strengthen political participation and provide an opportunity for residents to raise issues affecting Warri South-West and Delta State.
