The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has raised N63.2 million from the sale of nomination forms from 33 hopefuls for the party’s upcoming national convention.
The party has collected a total of N63,250,000.
The National Chairman nomination and expression of interest forms cost N5 million, while the Deputy Chairman/National Secretary nomination and expression of interest forms cost N3 million.
The cost of other substantive positions is N2 million, and the cost of deputy offices is N750,000.
One person is running for National Chairman, five people are running for Deputy National Chairman, and three people are running for National Secretary, according to the list of candidates.
It was observed that thirteen (13) people are running for other substantive positions such as National Publicity Secretary, National Treasurer, and National Organizing, among others.
This is despite the fact that eleven (11) people are vying for deputy positions.
