As pressure mounts on the Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to release specific timelines for the party’s proposed February national convention, a crucial meeting of the APC Governors is taking place to respond to the call from party stakeholders.
Eighteen governors are currently brainstorming at the Kebbi State Governor’s Lodge, according to sources, in a make-or-break decision to save the party from impending collapse.
The Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee CECPC, chaired by Mai Mala Buni, has been accused of various failures, including an apparent scheme to succeed itself, which the Committee has categorically rejected.
The Governor is one of the governors who was seen upon arrival.
