He condoled with the families of the deceased and assured residents that his administration would continue to work with security agencies to strengthen the protection of lives and property across the state.
As part of the immediate assistance to the affected community, the governor donated N10 million to the Saminaka community, while the families of each of the three deceased persons received N2 million, bringing the total donation to N16 million.
Idris prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant them Aljannatul Firdaus and give their families the strength to bear the loss.
Responding, the Danmasani of Saminaka, Alhaji Mohammed Bashir, thanked the governor for visiting the community at a difficult time and for the financial assistance provided to the victims’ families and the community.
