Former FCT State Minister Applauds Tinubu’s Female Ministerial Nominees

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been praised for appointing intelligent and diligent Nigerians, particularly women, to serve as ministers.

Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu made the congratulatory message available to journalists on Saturday in Abuja.

The immediate previous Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) expressed joy at the inclusion of a Nigerian woman on the list, saying their appointments were both deserving and timely.

The message reads in part: “I am delighted and honored to extend my heartfelt congratulations to esteemed Nigerian women who have been recognized on list of ministerial nominees.

“Your appointments by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, are not only well-deserved but also timely.”

The former All Progressives Congress (APC) national women leader also expressed confidence in the ability of the female nominees to excel in their national assignments and play pivotal roles in assisting the President in realizing his vision of a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria

Aliyu prayed: “As you embark on these important responsibilities, I pray for God’s guidance, sound health, and wisdom to enable you to discharge your duties diligently. Your dedication to the service of our nation is commendable, and I offer you my utmost regards.”

No fewer than six women have been nominated for ministerial positions in the first batch of the list submitted to the Senate by President Tinubu.

They are Stella Okotette, Nkiru Onyeojiocha, Uju Kennedy Ohaneye, Dorris Aniche Udoka, Hannatu Musawa and Uche Nnaji.
