Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State announced that 90% of the victims of the recent Ibadan explosion have been discharged from various hospitals.
The Medical Team and the Commissioner for Health visited hospitals to attend to victims, and counseling by a clinical psychologist has commenced at the Emergency Operations Centre.
The death toll remains at five, and search and rescue operations at the blast site have transitioned to recovery efforts.
The Nigerian Society of Engineers is conducting structural integrity tests on approximately 230 properties around the site.
Governor Makinde thanked the Lagos State Governor for releasing the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency to support Oyo State.
Residents were urged to contact the Emergency Operations Centre for assistance related to the incident.
