Human rights activist and #FreeNnamdiKanuNow campaigner, Omoyele Sowore, was on Friday re-arrested by police shortly after fulfilling bail conditions granted by a Kuje Magistrate Court in Abuja.
Sowore, Prince Emmanuel Kanu brother to IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu former IPOB lawyer Aloy Ejimakor, and ten others were earlier granted bail in the sum of ₦500,000 each, with two FCT-based sureties, valid identification, and three years’ tax clearance.
But despite meeting all requirements, police operatives immediately took Sowore back into custody after the court sitting and transported him to the Kuje Correctional Centre.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday, October 27, on fresh charges linked to his recent public allegation accusing President Bola Tinubu of criminality.
