The Uhonmora Progressive Union Worldwide has inaugurated its new executives, marking a new chapter in the organization’s journey.
The ceremony, held at the Ultra-modern Community Civic Center, was attended by prominent sons and daughters of Uhonmora, including Honourable Blessing Agbebaku, Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly.
Agbebaku charged the new executives to work selflessly for the community’s overall good, promising to support their efforts.
He announced plans to build additional classrooms for the Uhonmora Secondary Commercial School and address the long-standing water challenges facing the community.
Comrade Ikharo Attah, the new President of Uhonmora Progressive Union Worldwide, appealed to descendants of the community to unite and work together towards development.
“We must believe in our shared heritage and values,” he said. “Let us speak positively about our community and showcase its beauty to the world.”
Attah praised past leaders for laying a solid foundation and described Uhonmora as a blessed land with immense prospects. With new leadership and a renewed sense of unity, the community is poised for greatness.
