2027: APGA Apostles Vow to Sweep Anambra Polls, Target Over 2.1m Votes

The APGA Apostles Forum has unveiled an ambitious strategy to deliver a landslide victory for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the 2027 general elections, declaring its determination to secure all elective positions in Anambra State.

At the group’s third anniversary celebration and unveiling of its 2027 roadmap in Awka, members resolved to ensure APGA wins the state’s three senatorial seats, 11 House of Representatives seats and all 30 seats in the Anambra State House of Assembly. The forum also set a target of delivering more than 2.1 million votes for the party.

National Convener of the forum, Chief Nchekwube Anthony Chinedu (Dunga), said the group had spent the last three years building a formidable grassroots network across the state’s 326 political wards and 5,720 polling units to strengthen APGA’s electoral fortunes.

He described the journey as challenging but rewarding, insisting that the forum had established structures capable of ensuring the party does not lose any seat in the forthcoming National and State Assembly elections.

Representing APGA National Chairman, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, Deputy Chief of Staff, Barr. Chekwube Ezeike, described the anniversary theme, “Disruptive Solution for Ndi-Anambra,” as timely and reflective of the party’s resolve to overcome every obstacle ahead of the elections.

He said APGA was determined to reclaim all 326 wards in the state, adding that the party’s confidence was strengthened by Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s achievements in security, digital reforms and his Vision 2070 development agenda

Speaking on behalf of the forum, Chief Chika Ibeneme said the group had overcome numerous challenges through resilience and unwavering commitment, assuring members that greater efforts would be deployed to strengthen APGA’s grassroots support.

He urged party faithful to return to their various wards and intensify mobilisation to ensure victory in the senatorial, House of Representatives and House of Assembly elections.

Guest lecturer and Director of Planning and Strategy of the APGA Apostles Forum, Hon. Emeka Ozumba, presented a lecture titled “APGA Apostles Reclaim the Grassroots and Win 2027 Elections,” where he unveiled a 10-point strategic plan focused on grassroots mobilisation, political education, voter sensitisation and election support structures.

Anambra State Coordinator of the forum and Chairman of Onitsha North Local Government Area, Chief Tony Nweze Nwora, charged members to deliver their polling units for APGA, expressing confidence that the group had the capacity to surpass its 2.1 million votes target and secure victory in the forthcoming local government and National Assembly elections.

The event featured colourful cultural performances, music displays and the cutting of the forum’s third anniversary cake.
