The National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Senator David Mark, is set to inaugurate the party’s Presidential Campaign Council on Friday in Abuja as preparations intensify for the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration, according to a statement issued on Thursday by Kola Ologbondiyan, Special Adviser to the National Chairman on Media and Publicity, will bring together key leaders and candidates of the party from across the country.
Ologbondiyan said the event would be attended by ADC leaders, governorship candidates, National Assembly candidates and State Houses of Assembly candidates contesting the 2027 elections.
He said the inauguration would formally launch the party’s presidential campaign structure and set the stage for coordinated campaign activities ahead of the elections.
The event is expected to provide a platform for the party’s leadership and candidates to harmonise strategies, strengthen mobilisation and coordinate their campaigns as political activities gather momentum towards 2027.
The inauguration is also expected to signal the ADC’s transition into a more structured campaign phase as the party seeks to expand its political presence ahead of the general elections.
