US President Donald Trump has listed 25 achievements he said his administration recorded during its first 20 months since returning to office in January 2025.
Trump made the claims in a post on his Truth Social platform on Friday, highlighting his administration’s policies on immigration, taxation, trade, security, defence, energy, education and foreign affairs.
Among the achievements cited by the US President were what he described as the “most secure border in history,” the signing of the Laken Riley Act and what he called the largest decline in the US murder rate in history.
Trump also pointed to tax cuts contained in the One Big Beautiful Bill, including provisions he said eliminated federal taxes on tips, overtime and Social Security benefits.
He further claimed that his administration had secured commitments for $19.2 trillion in new investment in the United States, while imposing tariffs on foreign goods in an effort to boost American manufacturing.
Other economic achievements listed by Trump included what he described as 80 all-time stock market records since the election, increased employment and a projected $2.5 trillion in US goods exports this year.
On defence, Trump claimed his administration had made the largest-ever investment in the US Armed Forces, putting the figure at $1 trillion for this year and potentially $1.5 trillion next year.
He also cited military operations against drug cartels, saying the flow of fentanyl across the US border had fallen by 60 per cent.
On foreign affairs, Trump claimed his administration had secured peace deals that settled eight wars within its first 12 months, including the conflict in Gaza.
He also claimed that all living hostages had been returned to their families and that his administration had halted refugee admissions to the United States.
On Iran, Trump said US military operations had “obliterated” the country’s nuclear enrichment capacity, which he said was intended to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon.
The President also highlighted energy and environmental policies, saying his administration had ended what he described as the “Green New Scam,” declared a national energy emergency and expanded domestic oil and gas production.
He said his administration had also ended the federal electric vehicle mandate and other regulations affecting the US automobile industry.
On social and education policies, Trump said his administration had abolished diversity, equity and inclusion policies across the federal government and private sector.
He also cited a policy banning transgender women and girls from participating in women’s sports and claimed that transgender ideology and critical race theory had been banned in US schools.
Trump further listed the launch of “Trump Accounts,” tax-free investment accounts for American children, with $1,000 allocated for every newborn child.
Other claims on his list included the deployment of the National Guard to Washington, DC, Memphis and New Orleans to restore law and order, the suspension of refugee admissions from Somalia and other countries, and the designation of English as the official language of the United States.
Trump’s 25-point account comes as his administration promotes its record ahead of the 2026 US midterm elections.
The claims cover a range of policies and events, including immigration, trade, domestic security, military operations and foreign affairs, with several requiring assessment against official data and independent records.
