The Director General of the Energy Commission of Nigeria, Dr Mustapha Abdullahi, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigerians on the occasion of the nation’s Democracy Day celebration, saying the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda has continued to inspire confidence and optimism among citizens.
Dr Abdullahi praised President Tinubu for his steadfast leadership and unwavering commitment to democratic governance, national unity and sustainable development.
According to him, Democracy Day remains a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by patriotic Nigerians in the struggle for freedom, justice and the preservation of democratic values.
He noted that the celebration also provides an opportunity to reflect on the importance of visionary leadership, accountable governance and inclusive nation-building.
Commending the President’s leadership, Dr Abdullahi said Nigerians have continued to witness bold reforms and strategic interventions under the Tinubu administration.
“Under your administration, Nigerians have continued to witness bold reforms and strategic interventions aimed at repositioning the economy, strengthening institutions, improving infrastructure, deepening energy access and restoring hope in the nation’s future,” he said.
The ECN boss added that the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda has rekindled confidence in the country’s prospects and reinforced the belief that Nigeria is on the path to greater prosperity and stability.
“Your Excellency, Sir, your Renewed Hope Agenda has continued to inspire confidence among citizens and reinforce the belief that Nigeria is on a path toward greater prosperity and stability,” he stated.
Dr Abdullahi further applauded President Tinubu’s courage, resilience and determination in steering the affairs of the nation at a critical period in its democratic journey.
“As we commemorate this important national milestone, I commend your courage, resilience and determination in steering the affairs of the nation at a critical period in our democratic journey. Your dedication to democratic ideals and people-centred governance continues to strengthen the foundations of our republic,” he said.
He also paid tribute to Nigerians for their resilience, patriotism and unwavering faith in democracy, describing them as the backbone of the country’s progress.
“I salute the resilience and patriotism of Nigerians whose enduring faith in democracy remains the backbone of our national progress. Together, through unity, hard work and collective responsibility, we can build a stronger, more peaceful and economically vibrant Nigeria,” he added.
On behalf of the management and staff of the Energy Commission of Nigeria, Dr Abdullahi wished President Tinubu continued wisdom, strength, good health and divine guidance as he leads the nation towards enduring peace, economic growth and democratic consolidation.
