Embracing the Power , Blessings of the Right Hand, Pastor Mrs. Odeyemi

The Wife of The Redeemed Christian Church of God Continental Oversear ( Continent 11), Pastor Mrs. Esther Odeyemi in her powerful sermon: “The Triumphant Women Of the Right Hand “declared, “is not just a symbol of strength but a beacon of blessings, authority, and triumph, particularly for women.”

Her words reverberated through the hall, capturing the attention of everyone present. “In the Bible, the right hand is repeatedly referenced as the seat of power and favor.

She gave this hint at the 2024 Sister’s Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, FCT Province 7 held on Saturday in Abuja.

Jesus Himself sits at the right hand of His Father, a testament to this divine significance. Today, we will delve into the lives of women who embodied this power and emerged triumphant.”

She first highlighted Sarah, the wife of Abraham. “Imagine being promised to be the mother of nations yet facing the scorn of childlessness for decades,” she narrated. “Sarah’s journey was marked by faith, resilience, and unwavering support for her husband. Even when asked to change her name from Sarai to Sarah, she obeyed without hesitation, despite the ridicule she faced. She followed Abraham from Ur of the Chaldeans, trusted God’s promise, and ultimately gave birth to Isaac, thus becoming a pivotal figure in God’s plan for humanity.”

Pst Mrs Odeyemi also spoke of Hannah, the prayerful wife of Elkanah. “Hannah’s story is one of relentless faith and fervent prayer. Barren and ridiculed by her co-wife Peninnah, Hannah turned to God with unwavering determination. Her prayers at the temple were so intense that Eli, the priest, initially thought she was drunk. Yet, it was her faith and perseverance that led to the birth of Samuel, who would become one of Israel’s greatest prophets. Hannah’s triumph is a testament to the power of prayer and the faithfulness of God.”

She then drew attention to Benjamin, the son of Jacob and Rachel. “Benjamin’s name means ‘son of my right hand,’ symbolizing favor and strength. Despite being the youngest, his tribe became a crucial ally to Judah, standing firm when other tribes rebelled. This alliance showcases the importance of positioning oneself at the right hand – a place of strategic importance and enduring legacy.”

In her concluding remarks, Pastor Esther’s voice resonated with conviction. “The right hand is a place of honor, power, and divine favor. Women who operate from this position, like Sarah and Hannah, embody triumph through faith, prayer, and resilience. They remind us that no matter the challenges, standing in the right place with God’s favor ensures victory. As daughters of Sarah, let us hold onto our faith, persevere in prayer, and embrace the blessings of the right hand.”

The congregation, inspired and uplifted, left with a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper understanding of the triumph that comes from the right hand of God.
