The Federal Government has made public the redesigned naira notes.
It was unveiled a few minutes ago during the Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Godwin Emefiele, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, advised Nigerians against keeping old notes, stating there is no going back on the January 31st, 2023 deadline to entirely render the old notes obsolete.
The new notes have denominations of N1000, N500, and N200.
