The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) forecasts sunny and hazy conditions across the North and North Central regions of Nigeria on Thursday, as outlined in its Weather Report released in Abuja on Wednesday.
According to the agency, inland areas in the South are expected to experience sunny skies with patches of clouds, while coastal cities may encounter a few clouds within a hazy atmosphere. The report emphasizes the likelihood of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Delta, Lagos, Rivers, and Bayelsa states during the afternoon/evening period.
The statement from NiMET reads, “Sunny and hazy atmosphere is anticipated over the North and North Central regions of the country throughout the forecast period. Sunny skies with patches of clouds are expected over the inland areas of the South during the forecast period while few clouds in hazy atmosphere are expected over the coastal cities.”
