Chief Kenneth Ekitu Agbomah, a former House of Assembly aspirant and prominent People’s Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholder in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, has congratulated Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his election victory at the Supreme Court.
The felicitation comes after the Supreme Court affirmed Governor Oborevwori’s election victory, dismissing the challenge brought by the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Ovie Omo-Agege.
Chief Kenneth Ekitu Agbomah, speaking in Asaba, praised the Supreme Court for upholding the governor’s election and emphasized that the victory is a win for peace, unity, and sustainable development in Delta State. He called on residents from all political affiliations to set aside their differences and collaborate with Governor Oborevwori for the progress and prosperity of the state.
The affirmation of Governor Oborevwori’s victory at the Supreme Court marks a significant development in Delta State’s political landscape.
“I want to commend the PDP lawyers for their good presentation of evidences at the Supreme Court which led to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s victory.
“The victory today at the Apex Court reflects the desires of many Deltans who stood against all odds to cast their votes on the election day. I want to urge all residents of the state to see the verdict of the court as victory for democracy.
“I also appeal that we should all come together in unity and give maximum support to the Governor to enable him deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of the state,” he added.
