Shocker: David Mark’s Daughter Dumps ADC, Takes Charge of Tinubu Re-Election Campaign

In a dramatic political twist that has sent ripples through the opposition camp, Hon. Blessing Onuh, daughter of former Senate President, David Mark, has openly broken ranks with her father’s political base to take up a key role in the re-election campaign of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Onuh, a serving member of the House of Representatives, has been appointed National Woman Leader of the Take Action Campaign Organisation, a pro-Tinubu group mobilising support for the President ahead of the next general election.

Her appointment was formally announced in Abuja by the Director General of the group, Hon. Tony Nwulu, who presented her with an appointment letter at the organisation’s campaign office.

Accepting the role, Onuh pledged total commitment to the President’s second-term bid, aligning herself with the administration’s policies under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“I am fully committed to working tirelessly to ensure the re-election of President Tinubu. The achievements so far under the Renewed Hope Agenda are worthy of consolidation,” she said.

Her decision is already being described in political circles as a major blow to the opposition, particularly the African Democratic Congress (ADC), where her father currently serves as National Chairman amid internal challenges.

Sources say the development could deepen existing tensions within the ADC, as questions arise over loyalty and internal cohesion within the party’s leadership ranks.

The Take Action Campaign Organisation, which Onuh now joins as a frontline figure, is focused on promoting the achievements of the Tinubu administration and educating Nigerians on ongoing economic reforms and policy directions.

Insiders within the group say her appointment is expected to galvanise women and grassroots support across the country, especially given her political pedigree and legislative experience.

Observers note that the move underscores the shifting alliances ahead of the next election cycle, where personal political calculations and ideological alignments continue to reshape Nigeria’s political landscape.

While the ADC has yet to officially respond, the development is likely to spark fresh debates within opposition ranks as the race for 2027 begins to gather momentum.
