President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday formally obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential nomination form for the 2027 general election, becoming the first aspirant to do so as the ruling party commenced the sale of forms.
The nomination form, pegged at N100 million, was picked up on behalf of the President by the lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, Hon. James Faleke.
Faleke received the form from the APC National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, shortly after the party officially opened the process for aspirants seeking to contest elective positions on the platform of the ruling party in 2027.
Tinubu’s move signals the formal commencement of his re-election bid ahead of the next presidential contest.
