Abuja, Nigeria — Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Institute for Sports (NIS), Comrade Philip Shaibu, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary, describing it as a clear sign of renewed confidence in his leadership.
In a statement personally signed by him, Shaibu said the President’s emergence as the APC presidential candidate underscores the broad support and trust he enjoys among party members and stakeholders across the country, including the Federal Capital Territory.
According to the former Edo State Deputy Governor, the outcome of the primary highlights Tinubu’s political influence, leadership credentials, and commitment to Nigeria’s growth and development.
Shaibu described the victory as well deserved, noting that Tinubu’s long-standing role in Nigeria’s democratic journey continues to inspire confidence among party faithful.
