The Director of the City Boy Movement (CBM) in Kogi State, Hon. Ogah Mark Okpanachi, has hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, describing it as a far-reaching reform programme that is beginning to yield tangible development outcomes in Kogi State and across Nigeria.
Speaking as the nation marks the third anniversary of the Tinubu administration, Okpanachi said the President has demonstrated political will and leadership in implementing difficult but necessary reforms aimed at stabilising the economy, strengthening governance structures, expanding infrastructure and laying the foundation for sustainable national development.
In a statement commemorating the anniversary, the CBM Director acknowledged that major reforms often come with short-term challenges but argued that the long-term benefits of the administration’s policies are becoming increasingly evident.
According to him, several strategic federal initiatives approved for Kogi State have positioned the state to become a major economic and investment destination in the country.
He cited the approval of the Lokoja International Airport, the proposed Free Trade Zone and the Agricultural Processing Zone as landmark projects capable of transforming the state’s economic landscape.
“These projects have the potential to attract both local and foreign investment, create employment opportunities for thousands of young people, stimulate economic activities and strengthen Kogi State’s contribution to national development,” Okpanachi stated.
He noted that the projects align with the broader objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda, which seeks to drive economic diversification, improve infrastructure and expand opportunities for Nigerians.
The CBM Director also commended the Governor of Kogi State, Hon. Ahmed Usman Ododo, for maintaining what he described as a productive partnership with the Federal Government to ensure the state benefits from ongoing national development programmes.
According to him, Governor Ododo’s focus on infrastructure development, healthcare delivery, educational advancement, agricultural expansion, security and youth empowerment complements the developmental priorities of the Tinubu administration.
“Governor Ododo has continued to create an enabling environment for investment, economic growth and social development. His administration’s policies are closely aligned with the vision of the Federal Government and are helping to accelerate development across the state,” he said.
Okpanachi further observed that collaboration between the Federal Government and the Kogi State Government remains critical to achieving accelerated growth, economic recovery and improved living standards for residents.
He urged Nigerians to support government policies aimed at fostering national unity, economic stability and inclusive growth, stressing that meaningful development requires patience, resilience and collective commitment.
“As we reflect on President Tinubu’s three years in office, there is every reason to remain optimistic about the future. The reforms currently being implemented are expected to deliver even greater dividends for Nigerians and particularly for the people of Kogi State in the years ahead,” he said.
He concluded by praying for continued wisdom, strength and good health for President Tinubu and Governor Ododo as they pursue policies and initiatives aimed at improving the welfare and prosperity of Nigerians.
