The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has described First Lady Oluremi Tinubu as a major pillar of support for President Bola Tinubu and a source of succour to vulnerable Nigerians.
Wike stated this in a goodwill message to the First Lady as she celebrates her 66th birthday, commending her contributions to the success of the administration and her humanitarian initiatives.
The Minister particularly praised Oluremi Tinubu for her role in the transformation of the Abuja City Gate, saying the development reflected her commitment to supporting her husband’s administration.
In a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, Wike also commended the First Lady’s Renewed Hope Initiative for providing support to vulnerable Nigerians over the past three years.
According to the Minister, Oluremi Tinubu’s simple lifestyle and dedication to public service have continued to inspire women across the country.
“At 66, the simple way of life of the First Lady, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has remained an inspiration to women in the country, and it is my prayer that God will continue to uphold her,” Wike said.
He described her birthday as a confirmation of God’s love and prayed for continued good health and strength for the First Lady.
“Most importantly, this new age is a confirmation of God’s love for her, and I pray that the good Lord will continue to grant her good health,” he added.
Wike further expressed his appreciation for the First Lady’s contributions to the country, wishing her many more years of service to Nigeria.
“I celebrate and rejoice with our ever caring and development-oriented First Lady on the attainment of this significant age in her life and wish her many more years of service to our country, Nigeria,” he said.
