Minister of Steel Development, Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, has called on Nigerians to use the Eid-el-Kabir celebration to pray for peace, unity and economic prosperity in the country.
The minister, in a goodwill message to Muslim faithful on Wednesday, urged citizens to embrace the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, tolerance and faith as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
Prince Audu said the Sallah celebration should serve as a reminder of the need for Nigerians to remain united and committed to building a better nation.
He also appealed to Nigerians to continue supporting and praying for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to succeed in delivering development and economic growth.
The minister prayed for lasting peace and stability across the country and wished Muslims a peaceful and joyful Eid-el-Kabir celebration with their families and loved ones.
