Top political figures from across party lines gathered in the United Kingdom on Wednesday to witness the graduation of Jazmyne Wike, daughter of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, who earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with Upper Second-Class Honours from the University of Southampton.
According to a post on Facebook by the FCT Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, Wike attended the graduation ceremony alongside his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike, to celebrate their daughter’s academic achievement.
Among the dignitaries present were Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate Prof. Sandy Onor, PDP Board of Trustees Chairman Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, the party’s Deputy National Chairman (South), Aaron Chukwuemeka, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Rivers State, Hon. Kingsley Chinda.
Also in attendance were the Executive Director of Projects, South South Development Commission, Hon. Marcus Nle Ejii; House of Representatives member representing Ahoada West/Ogba-Egbema/Ndoni Federal Constituency, Hon. Victor Obuzor; and the Publisher of ThisNigeria Newspaper, Eric Osagie, among other guests who joined the Wike family for the ceremony.
