A former governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Captain Sunday Adebomi, has celebrated the recruitment of his mentee, Owoyemi Yeside Temitope, into the United States Army.
Owoyemi, an indigene of Ikere-Ekiti, is among eleven beneficiaries of the Green Card programme who recently secured the opportunity to begin military service in the United States.
Adebomi described the development as a testament to the power of mentorship, determination and access to opportunities for young Nigerians.
“This achievement reflects what is possible when young people are supported and guided to pursue global opportunities,” he said.
He congratulated Owoyemi on the milestone and expressed confidence that she would distinguish herself through discipline, dedication and excellence in her new role.
The APC chieftain reaffirmed his commitment to youth empowerment, noting that he would continue to leverage his network to create life-changing opportunities for young people across Ekiti State.
