Honourable Blessing Agbebaku, Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, has called on the people of Uhonmora community to put aside their differences and work towards a common goal of development.
Speaking at the inauguration congress of the Uhonmora Progressive Union Worldwide, Agbebaku emphasized the importance of unity in achieving optimal development.The speaker pledged his continuous support for the community, promising proactive representation and development projects.
He commended the new president of the Uhonmora Progressive Union Worldwide, Comrade Ikharo Attah, for his vision and leadership.Attah, in his inaugural speech, expressed gratitude to the speaker for his contributions to the community, including the Light Up Project, which has transformed the community at night.
He also applauded the speaker’s interventions in the Uhonmora Secondary Commercial School and the construction of asphalted roads in key streets.Attah urged descendants of the community, both at home and abroad, to come together and work towards the development of Uhonmora.
“We must believe in our collective heritage and values,” he said. “Let us speak positively about our community and showcase its beauty to the world.
“The new president praised past leaders of the association for laying a solid foundation, which has enabled the union to thrive. With unity and collective effort, the people of Uhonmora are poised for greatness.”
