Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has been confirmed as one of the headline performers at the FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert scheduled to hold in Los Angeles, United States.
FIFA announced the Los Angeles lineup on June 2–3, 2026, unveiling the event as part of a historic multi-city global celebration connecting Canada, Mexico, and the United States ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which runs from June to July.
The concert is scheduled for Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, one day before the tournament kicks off. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. PT, while the live broadcast begins at 6:00 p.m. PT.
Davido will perform alongside global acts including Diplo’s Major Lazer, with additional artists expected to be announced in the coming days.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, June 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. PST via AXS, while the event will be streamed globally through FIFA’s digital platforms, including a live TikTok broadcast in the United States.
The Los Angeles concert will run simultaneously with similar Countdown Concerts in Toronto and Mexico City, creating a coordinated North American celebration of football, music, and culture ahead of the World Cup.
Davido’s appearance adds to his growing FIFA legacy, having featured on the official 2022 World Cup soundtrack “Hayya Hayya (Better Together)” and performed at the tournament’s closing ceremony in Qatar.
